Social Policy and Social Work

The work of the Social Policy and Social Work department involves the connection of basic and applied research in the analysis of the overall direction of social policy and the assessment of the effectiveness of employment policies, social services and social work. It also analyses intervention measures aimed at social inclusion, income redistribution and active ageing, provides assessments of the adequacy of implemented measures in terms of the respective requirements and the fulfilment of standards and quality parameters, and determines and evaluates appropriate procedures for the implementation of intervention measures, their targeting and effectiveness.
