doc. PhDr. Kateřina Kubalčíková, Ph.D.

Kateřina Kubalčíková studied sociology, social policy and social work at the Faculty of Social Studies of the Masaryk University in Brno, and completed study internships at Hogeschool de Horst in Driebergen, the Netherlands (1995 and 2000) and Universität Regensburg (2001). She was awarded an assistant professorship in 2019. Her main professional interests lie in social services policy and social services for seniors. She is also involved in community planning. Since 2001, she has been working at the Department of Social Policy and Social Work of the Faculty of Social Studies of the Masaryk University in Brno, which she currently heads. She is a member of the editorial board of the Sociální studia/Social Studies journal.
