Comprehensive study of the impact of digitalisation and automation processes on the labour market and, consequently, on the social and education sectors
The subject of the project consists of the research of the impacts of the fourth industrial revolution, namely, automation and digitalisation in the labour market and, consequently, on the education system, especially further education, and the area of social insurance. When formulating the project proposal, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs relied principally on the current version of the Employment 4.0 Action Plan and the Society 4.0 Action Plan as well as on the Digital Literacy Strategy of the Czech Republic for the period 2015–2020, all three of which are of key importance for the conducting of the project, the overall aim of which is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of preparedness for the impacts of the introduction of automation and digitalisation in the Czech Republic, which is on the threshold of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The project provides specific proposals for draft measures and recommendations for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The project also aims to map the situation in other countries, especially those in which issues concerning the impacts of automation and digitalisation have been systematically addressed for several years and in which certain practical measures have already been introduced.
