Improvement of Data Basis for Development and Evaluation of Family Policy
This project aims at expanding the range of data available for evidence-based population policy in the Czech Republic (as well as in a wider context). The project is inspired by ongoing changes in reproductive behavior and demographic structure of the Czech population, declining fertility and population ageing. These demographic trends are a challenge to public policies and economies. Solutions cannot be found without adequate data. This project proposes to conduct a new survey mapping reproductive and family behaviors. Data will be collected, processed, documented and analyzed according to the needs specified by the application guarantors, especially the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Data will be archived and become available to other academic and policy users.
The project is part of international research programme Generations & Gender Programme (GGP). More about GGP see https://www.ggp-i.org/
