Description:

The aim of the project is to enable the rapid and flexible provision of information for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) on current developments abroad with regard to pension policy and the approaches of individual countries to solving the problems they face. Although attention is focused mainly on other EU countries, the project also considers other OECD member states and Latin American and Southeast Asian countries. The research concentrates on all the pillars of the pension system, with particular emphasis on basic pillar parameters. The MoLSA is provided with analysis on a quarterly basis that contains up-to-date information on ongoing or upcoming changes. The outputs also include information on the impacts of such changes with respect to the economic policy of the respective countries. The findings are obtained via the processing of documentation compiled from foreign and international institutions and organisations that address pension issues, the monitoring of websites of various institutions in individual countries under whose competence and sphere of interest this area lies and the research of other relevant sources.
