Circumstances of entitlement to “Advance of Maintenance Payment” and socio-economic situation of its recipients
The project is aimed at recipients of the “Advance of Maintenance Payment” benefit, a new social benefit that can be claimed from July 2021. Its aim is to obtain more detailed information about the families receiving this benefit, the method of recovery of the maintenance due, the justification of the circumstances of entitlement to the benefit and the evaluation of the benefits of the maintenance for the given families. The project is based on a combination of data from two sources, namely administrative data from the information system of replacement maintenance and primary data from a questionnaire survey among applicants and recipients of replacement maintenance. The results of the project will make it possible to evaluate the effects of the introduction of the new benefit, its benefits for the beneficiaries and any positives or weaknesses associated with its payment. They will be used for the evaluation of replacement maintenance and in the conceptual activities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the area of family policy and family benefits.
