Methods and effectiveness of interest mediation between individuals, social groups and the state
The project is addressed on the analysis of existing institutional structures of interest mediation between individuals, social groups and the society, analysis of existing forms of mediation and their effectiveness. The mediation process in expored fromthe point of view of spheres,in which it takes place, through which it is implemented, and its actors. Growing specialization and ´thickening´ of all structures of modern democratic societies results in emergence of ever more specialized bodies, theirprofessionalization, changing organization structure, membership patters, character of participation and the activity per se. Changes in the pattern of membership are visible in decreasing membership in traditional voluntary bases and growingprofessionalization of activities. The proportion of passive membership is growing and the patterns are changing – from direct personal to the mediated participation, non-personal and non-direct.
