Impacts of the covid-19 pandemic on single parents
The project focuses on the effects of the pandemic on the lives of single parents both in the short and long term, for ex. on employment, income, housing, childcare. The aim is also to map their need for external assistance and to provide them with contacts for appropriate support services. Re-contacting the respondent will provide feedback of using the services and their effect. The project builds on the research carried out by both applicants in 2019, which will allow to evaluate changes in selected areas of life of the target group. It is based on sociological research combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The main output will be a research report. It will support the activities of application guarantors (the non-profit sector and the conceptual activities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic).
