Description:

The research task responds to the current situation and expected developments, where transformations in the field of economy, the relationship between the environment and human society, digitalization, changes in the labour market, as well as the experience with pandemics, together trigger the need to respond to emerging or non-standard risks and to address existing risks by modified means. Thus, in accordance with the current Research, development and innovation Concept of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the project will use new holistic perspectives on the work system and research on the impact of the combined effects of a wide range of work and environmental factors and working conditions on the health and safety of workers. The basic theoretical scheme underlying the project is comprehensive risk analysis and management. There is currently a paradigm shift in this area at the global level, and these changes will be reflected in the project. Thus, in addition to direct outputs with application potential, the project will also have elements of novelty in the theoretical basis of the discipline of OSH. The project is primarily designed to address the global issues of a transforming society and economy in a changing climate, and so the main source of data will be international exchange.
