Mgr. Danica Schebelle

Danica Schebelle is a sociologist and researcher at the Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs. She graduated from the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Arts, Trnava University. In June 2003, she completed a research internship as part of the Networking of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Japan and Central European Countries international project (Sasakawa Peace Foundation). In 2016, she chaired the assessment committee of the Safe Research Programme of the Czech Republic 2015–2022. Her professional interests lie in the analysis of the labour market, human resource development, employment policy, social services networking, and labour migration. Over the past twelve years, she has primarily been interested in applied research, specifically into the integration of foreigners living in the Czech Republic and the development of integration policy. Since 2020, she has been the principal researcher for the Integration of Foreigners from Third Countries in the Czech Republic project (Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic).
