Description:

The subject of the project entitled “Nationals from Ukraine with temporary protection among us” is the implementation of qualitative research among Ukrainian nationals living in the territory of the Czech Republic. The project was supported by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and is financed under the subsidy program INTEGRATION OF FOREIGNERS 2023.

The aim of the project is to map selected aspects of the lives of nationals of Ukraine granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic over the age of 18 who live in all 14 regions of the Czech Republic, in particular their life and family situation, needs, goals in the Czech Republic and ideas about their future. Attention will also be focused on mapping their residence strategy, work integration and territorial distribution in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the perception and experience of cultural differences associated with their arrival and life in the Czech Republic will be investigated, as well as the mapping of the situation in the area of their compatriot ties in the Czech Republic.

The elaborated monograph, based on the findings of empirical research, will bring the expansion of research knowledge about the target group and will enable the identification of potential and real risks associated with the target group and their stay in the Czech Republic.
