Labour market prediction
The project is aimed at creating a sustainable system for the reliable prediction and monitoring of the labour market, which will interconnect the national and regional levels, and the results of which will reflect the substantial impacts of technological trends in the labour market and the specifics of regional development. The beneficiary of the project, conducted in conjunction with the Employment Operational Programme, is the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) with financial support provided by the ESF and the state budget of the Czech Republic. RILSA is involved in both the design and implementation of the project. Other partners participating in the project consist of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, the National Training Fund and individual regions represented by regional platforms. The main objective of the project is to create a system that enables the creation of labour market predictions at the national and regional labour market levels and to further extend the professional capacity for the monitoring and prediction of the labour market at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The project will lead to the improvement of the model for the prediction of labour market needs at the national level and include the creation of 14 regional level models. The results of the project will provide the MoLSA with information on future labour market developments and the expected evolution of the requirements thereof. The results will be used in the creation of strategic materials as well as in the setting of active employment policy instruments and measures, especially with regard to retraining and other educational activities.
