Description:

The project aims to update the system of quantitative indicators that provide for the monitoring of the integration of foreigners from third countries in the Czech Republic. Selected indicators are monitored at half-yearly intervals and are divided into three categories. Core indicators include areas related to the residence of third-country foreigners: demographic characteristics, employment, education and social inclusion, while the analytical indicators divide these values in more detail and the comparison indicators express relations to the Czech population and foreigners living in the Czech Republic as a whole. As in previous years, the development of the opinions of the majority Czech society towards foreigners living in the Czech Republic with respect to six selected substantive areas is monitored in parallel, thus allowing for the continuous monitoring of the development of the opinions and attitudes of the Czech population towards foreigners living in the country and changes with concern to these attitudes over the long term. The project results will be submitted to the management of the Asylum and Migration Policy Department of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
