Description:

The project is directly related to the projects Family Report 2020 (IP70607) and Family Report 2017 (project no. 523). Its realization is based on the commitment of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic (MoLSA) Family Policy Concept of 2017 and Government Resolution No. 654/17, in which the MoLSA is required to prepare a comprehensive report on the family every three years. It is the basis for the preparation and implementation of the measures of the Family Policy Concept 2022 and other activities of the Department of the 25th MoLSA, but it is also a support for regional family policies or the activities of non-profit organizations. The Family Report clearly synthesizes the research results of the RILSA, as well as other entities (academic workplaces, non-profit organizations, etc.). In addition to updating data describing developments in key areas of family life (family formation and dissolution, parenthood, work-life balance, etc.), the main theme of the Family Report 2023 will be the socio-economic situation of families with children, both in the context of pandemics and economic uncertainty related to energy crisis and the war in Ukraine. It is planned that the Report will be submitted to the government on the International Day of the Family in May 2023.
