The position of employees on the Czech labour market and measures to promote collective bargaining
The project produced a study “Social dialogue in the process of adaptation to changes caused by the use of new technologies and artificial intelligence in the world of work “, which summarises the existing knowledge on the impact of new information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence on the labour market. The study describes not only the general challenges, but also the risks for individual occupations, including changes in the relationship between employers and their employees. The study maps the initiatives being taken in this area by transnational institutions and social partners. Using data from a pan-European Eurobarometer survey, the authors show how respondents perceive new technologies and artificial intelligence and in which aspects they are afraid of these new trends. Last but not least, the study analyses the use of ICT by trade unions in companies.
