Project start:
2021
Project end:
2022
Description:

The aim of the research task is to find out both the attitudes of workers towards new forms of employment and their actual experiences with the selected forms of work. At the same time, the project should provide findings on the behaviour and attitudes of these workers linked to their work strategies, with an emphasis on their preferences and attitudes regarding the balance between flexibility and security in the labour market. The project also aims to assess whether the existing legislation is able to protect these workers who have chosen one of the new forms of employment for their employment. The focus will be on platform workers and so-called freelancers, i.e. workers who, for various reasons, welcome or prefer greater flexibility and personal fulfilment at any given moment, but who may in the future face risks such as unclear or disguised employment relationships.
