Integration of foreigners from the third countries in the Czech Republic
The main objective of the project is to maintain and continue the ongoing monitoring and analysis of integration data and processes using developed and proven tools and methodologies – to ensure the basis for evaluating the progress and effectiveness of the integration of foreigners from third countries in the Czech Republic. The project proposal builds on outcomes from previous European Integration Fund projects (since 2006), thematically oriented both on the methodology and development of monitoring indicators of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic (2009–2015) and on projects dedicated to the continuous development of the “System of indicators of integration of foreigners from third countries in the Czech Republic” (implemented between 2016 and 2023, financed from the Foreigners’ Integration subsidy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic).
The project contributes to ensuring the necessary continuity of previous outputs for the contracting authority – the Department of Asylum and Migration Policy (DAMP) of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. Regular updating, analysis and visualization of the created System of Quantitative Indicators will significantly contribute to measuring the impact of integration measures, and to the management and planning of further integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic.
The project will bring the contractor, among others, current data and information about the development and impacts of the wave of refugees from Ukraine in 2023 and the first half of 2024. In recent years, successful cooperation with The Integration Centre Prague has been established. Within the framework of this co-operation the current information is sent to ensure updating of the website www.atlaspredsudku.cz.
