PhDr., Mgr. Kamila Svobodová, Ph.D.
Kamila Svobodová studied demography at the Faculty of Science of Charles University where she subsequently continued her doctoral studies. She also studied sociology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, where she was awarded her PhDr in 2005. Her research is focused mainly on the sociology of the family, demographic processes, social disadvantage and education. She is also interested in topics such as the harmonisation of work and personal life, the day care services system for preschool and school-age children, and gender. From 2007 to 2010, she worked as an external evaluator of applications for subsidies in the area of family support for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. She was a member of the working group for the preparation of the National Programme for Preparation for Ageing for the period 2008 to 2012. In 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012, she was a member of the assessment committee of the Family-Friendly Municipality competition.
