Bc. Magdalena Bubeníková
Magdalena Bubeníková is a master’s student in Public and Social Policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, where she previously completed her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Policy. In 2022, she spent a semester at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in Portugal, and in 2018–2019 she undertook a year-long study stay in Florida, USA. Since 2024, she has been working at the Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs, in the Department of Family Policy. She contributed to the research project Motherhood before the Age of 18, which focused on the situation of young mothers in the Czech Republic, and has also participated in the study Foster Care in Public Opinion. Her research interests include family policy, parenting, and informal care. Currently, she is investigating the position of siblings of children with disabilities, the so-called “glass children.”
