Bc. Jakub Hajný
Jakub Hajný studied Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, where he is currently pursuing a follow-up degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. His research interests include occupational safety and health, ergonomics, and the use of digital technologies to improve workplace efficiency and safety. He specializes in risk analysis, ergonomic evaluation, and applications of virtual reality, particularly in risk prevention and education. He was part of the European project Energy Tree (INTERREG BYCZ), realized in collaboration with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, which focused on innovative technology applications and cross-border cooperation in sustainable development and education. He gained further experience in virtual reality applications through the VR Rescue 1000 project (Plzeň, 2025), which trained 1,000 participants in first aid in a single day using virtual reality and artificial intelligence.
