Accredited Certification Body for Product Certification No. 3068

Product Certification Body No. 3068 received certification on 29 September 1999 as an integral part of Authorised Body No. 235. The scope of its authorisation for the accredited assessment of products includes personal protective equipment intended for the protection of the head, eyes and face, respiratory organs, hearing, hands, feet and body (protective clothing), as well as auxiliary building structures in the RILSA independent construction laboratory, which has been in operation since the 1970s.

In 2004, following the introduction of Government Regulation No. 21/2003 Coll., which set out technical requirements for PPE, the construction laboratory was split from the Product Certification Body. Since this time, the Product Certification Body has focused exclusively on the assessment and certification of PPE. It currently provides certification for products that protect the head, hands, body and respiratory system.
