Job content

  • leading analytical and research activities focused on social and labour market policies in cooperation with the MoLSA and other stakeholders;
  • compilation, processing and interpretation of large datasets (administrative, survey and other relevant data);
  • coordinating and conducting research projects funded by national (e.g. TA ČR, GA ČR) and international (e.g. Horizon Europe) sources;
  • communicating findings and the preparation of policy briefs, impact studies and academic publications;
  • presenting results at conferences and meetings of experts;
  • identifying and implementing innovations in data analytics, including AI/ML approaches;
  • mentoring junior analysts and building internal capacities for advanced data analytics;
  • collaborating with academic institutions, public authorities and international organisations.

Requirements

  • university degree (preferably a Ph.D.) in statistics, data science, economics, sociology or a related field;
  • proven experience in quantitative research and data analysis;
  • proficiency in the application of analytical tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL, Stata) and the use of data infrastructures;
  • knowledge of Czech, as well as written and spoken English (min. B2).
