Accredited Certification Body for Product Certification No. 3068

Product Certification Body No. 3068 was certified on September 29, 1999, as an integral part of the Authorized Body No. 235. The scope of its authorization for accredited product assessment included personal protective equipment intended for the protection of the head, eyes and face, respiratory organs, hearing, hands, feet, and body (protective clothing), as well as auxiliary building structures examined in the independent construction laboratory, which has been operating since the 1970s.

In 2004, in connection with the entry into force of Government Regulation No. 21/2003 Coll., which laid down the technical requirements for PPE, the construction laboratory was separated from the Certification Body for Products. Since then, the Certification Body for Products has focused exclusively on the assessment and certification of PPE. At present, it operates in the fields of head, hand, body, and respiratory protection.
