Interview with the director of RILSA on the situation and perspectives of research in the Czech Republic
The November issue of the MM Průmyslové spektrum (Industrial spectrum) journal features an interview with RILSA director Robin Maialeh.
The main topic of the interview concerned the situation and perspectives of science and research in the Czech Republic, especially with respect to research in the field of social sciences.
When justifying the importance of social science research, Robin Maialeh stated that: “The progress made as a result of Industry 4.0 created enormous potential for the performance of the economy; on the other hand, without the implementation of a sophisticated social and economic policy, it may pose a significant threat to certain groups of the population. In other words, changes in the nature of production will necessarily require changes at the societal level”.
