New phenomena in the employment environment affecting the quality of working conditions of employees with an overlap into the issue of health and safety
The changing labour market requires increased pressure to digitise employment documentation with implications for OSH documentation. Part of the preparations to increase company resilience is to strengthen legislation on remote working. This form of work is very burdensome in terms of ergonomic parameters and psychosocial risks, and it is necessary to set up this area in a systemic way so that it does not cause a reduction in the quality of working conditions of employees and at the same time is beneficial for employers. Digitisation and the simplification and modernisation of tools in this area will reduce the pressure on both sides, both in terms of psychosocial and administrative burden on the employer. These include the regulation of the negotiation of remote employment contracts, the regulation of electronic payroll, shift planning, training of employees to ensure the protection of employee health and safety and compensation of employees for occupational injuries or illnesses caused by or in connection with the remote performance of work.
